Reduce that high speed risk, learn the excellent dynamics of the AWD system and do some skids at the Impreza WRX Club DECA Challenge!

The best approach with skidpan days is the old ‘slow & steady wins the race’.

The DECA Highway Circuit (AKA "Long and Short Wangs") will have stopwatch based timing that will replicate a mini race track. We will be using traffic cones to simulate a chicane to keep the pace safe.

All you need to do is make sure your car is reliable/ roadworthy, bump up your tyre pressure, you have a Motorsport approved fire extinguisher (contact our Merchandise Man if you don’t), wear appropriate clothing, bring a motorcycle/ car helmet, remove the fully sick subwoofer out of the boot and rock up on time with either your CAMS or AASA Licence (CAMS Non Speed as a minimum). These can be purchased on the day for a minimal fee.

If you’re a race track buff who thinks that they’re beyond this tight & technical skidpan stuff, you might be surprised!
