Our monthly General Meetings are a great way to get involved in our Club. During these meetings, we discuss our current endeavors as well as upcoming events. We are always supportive and welcoming of feedback as well as new ideas to help grow our Club and make it more exciting for everyone.
This month we’re off to one of our favourite venues to talk….Engines, Engines, Engines!!
The meeting will be held at Top Torque Engines & Cylinder Heads in Vermont.

The 2021 Go Kart Championship is set to kick off on Sunday April 18 at Le Mans in Dandenong South. The round will consist of a 15 minute qualifying session, followed by a two 20 lap races, with all Impreza WRX Club members eligible to earn championship points.
This year's championship will consist of 5 rounds, with all Impreza WRX Club members eligible to compete. The final championship standings will be calculated on points earned on your top 4 event standings, ie your lowest result will not count.
Format: 15 lap qualifying, 2 x 15 lap races
Members are invited to compete in as many rounds as they like, so it does not matter if you compete in one round, or all 5, you will still receive championship points.
Family and friends of club members are more than welcome to attend, however they must register as a guest as part of a club member's registration and will not be eligible for championship points.
WRX Club Car display
We are looking for nice Subaru's to display and promote the club.
LIMITED TO TEN CARS ONLY.
HERES THE DEAL:
It's similar to what we do at the GP display; think of it as a car show. Gates open at 8:30 am to set up once your car is in, it will be locked in until the end of the event. It finishes at 2 pm but don't count on getting out until 3 pm. Committee members will man the display. The cost is $20 per car to be paid upon registering the money raised goes to charity; in 2019, it went to Breast Cancer research.
Entries close April the 18th
About The Show
Sakura Picnic is about bringing Melbourne's Japanese automotive clubs together. We encourage your club to come along and put on a display, fly your flags, sell merchandise, and talk to individuals about how they can become involved.
There will be no awards, no egos, just a relaxed day under the gums of Bundoora Park with great cars and great people. Bring your best picnic rug along with your family and friends and enjoy the food trucks, coffee, ice cream and sausage sizzle. Sakura Picnic is a family friendly; alcohol & drug free event and no anti-social behaviour will be tolerated.
